How To Incorporate More Greens Into Your Diet

Greens are essential. We all have to consume them but are you consuming enough? I have heard people say that they do not eat many vegetables because they can not find time to add them to their daily meals. Well for starters if you are making your own meals it will be easier for you to incorporate more greens. For those of you who constantly buy food out, it may be a little harder, but do not worry that is a post for another day. Today I will explain to you how to incorporate more greens into your diet.

For Breakfast
In the morning there doesn’t seem like there are many opportunities to consume vegetables but my two popular choices are avocado toast or scrambled eggs with spinach.
Avocado Toast is super simple and you can add anything on top that is to your liking.
My favorite thing to make in the morning is scrambled eggs. I add in spinach, tomatoes, and onions. Depending on my mood I might even add in a few sprinkles of cheese.
Lunch Break
When it's time for lunch a salad should be the first option. There are so many salad options no matter if you are a meat-eater, pescatarian, vegetarian, or vegan. My favorite salad is a buffalo cauliflower salad.
If you are a sandwich person load your turkey sandwich with romaine lettuce or spinach.
Green smoothies are also a good lunchtime go-to.
Its Dinner Time
For dinner, if you consume vegetables it will be because it's a side dish to your main course. That is totally fine. When planning out your dinner meals, always think about what vegetables you are going to add to it.
If you are having salmon and potatoes, you might add asparagus. Or if you are having chicken with rice, you might add green beans.
My favorite greens to add as a side to my meals are asparagus, spinach, green beans, and broccoli.
Here Are Some Snack Options…

Kale Chips
Green Smoothie
Celery w. Peanut Butter
Green Apple Slices w. Almond Butter
