Can you make okra water using frozen okra?
For months, I had been trying to try okra water. I had many videos saved from YouTube where doctors had discussed the benefits of drinking okra water. I had also saved videos from YouTube where pregnant women had discussed their experiences with drinking okra water to help them get ready for labor.
I was not sure if okra water was going to help me health wise or if it was just something that was popular online at the moment, but I was hoping that it would help give my skin a nice glow.
Initially, I had reservations about trying okra water because I had always heard that okra was very slimy. I have never eaten okra before. Honestly, I had never even seen it in the grocery store, but then again, I never had a reason to look for it.
When I went to the grocery store to find okra, I could not find any in the produce aisle. Recently, I found a farmers' market that I really liked, so I went there hoping to obtain some okra. It was not there either.
The next best option was frozen okra. I had not seen many people online using frozen okra to make okra water, but I still decided to give it a try, and I was glad I did.
In the video below, you will see how I prepare my frozen okra water, which is just as simple as putting frozen okra in a mason jar and adding spring water to it. Then you see my review of frozen okra water.
It was very hard for me to find fresh okra near me, but I really wanted to try okra water. The only okra option I would see was frozen okra. I wondered whether frozen okra would be just as effective as fresh okra. I tried making okra water with frozen okra, and it was perfect. So when I can't make it to the farmer's market to buy fresh okra, or if it is not available at the grocery store, I know frozen okra is the next best thing.
